Since the start of the year, the forward has put in a series of dazzling displays that have brought him to the attention of many of Europe's top sides.
Fekir has scored 13 goals in 20 games in all competitions so far this season and has demonstrated his versatility by playing all across the frontline.
Indeed, his performances have been so impressive that they have reportedly brought him onto the radar of La Liga pacesetters Barcelona, with elements of the Spanish press claiming that the French international could be a potential plan B, in case their pursuit of Liverpool's Philippe Coutinho proves fruitless.
Speaking to 'Telefoot', the 24-year-old was quizzed on the rumours and his response was a simple one: "Yeah, Barcelona, it's nice. It's obviously an interesting prospect but there's nothing concrete. At the moment I'm a Lyon player, I'm working hard and I'm very happy here."
Whilst stressing that there was nothing in the works, the playmaker was keen to highlight his interest in playing in the Spanish top flight. "At the moment I still have two years left on my contract with Lyon. But of course, there are leagues that you dream of playing in... like in Spain. Real Madrid, Barcelona, Atletico Madrid... they're all great clubs," he explained.
The Spanish press will no doubt pick up on these quotes in double-quick time, but for now Fekir will continue his preparations for the clash between Lyon and Marseille on Sunday.
