Arsenal faced fallen European giants Red Star Belgrade in the Europea League on Thursday and emerged 1-0 winners but they were left hugely indebted to French international Giroud, whose late goal earned them the points.
The striker pounced after 85 minutes, Wilshere ans Walcott played a one-two on the edge of the Red Star box before the latter headed the ball down the Giroud, who proceeded to acrobatically turn the ball home from eight yards.
It was nothing more than we have come to expect from Giroud as he came up trmps when his side needed him most once again.
