The 29-year old made 43 Premier League appearances for Crystal Palace, scoring five goals. Hull City have agreed terms with the striker who is expected to join the club on a free transfer.
Campell began his career at Manchester United in 2006, afterwards he moved on loan to Hull City in 2008, where he played a key role.
He continued his career at Tottenham before spells at Sunderland and Cardiff City. Campbell now looks set to return to his former club who were relegated from the Premier League last season.
Campbell would be the second signing of the summer for Hull after Chelsea's Ola Aina, who signed a season-long loan deal.
