Real Madrid announced last May that they had signed the Brazilian wonderkid, who would arrive at the Bernabeu in 2019 in order to allow him to develop at his childhood club, Flamengo.
The 17-year-old himself knows he must make the most of every opportunity to show Madrid that they were right to sign him at such a young age and his coach, Reinaldo Rueda, is doing everything he can to help the teenager.
"I have one year left at Flamengo and I hope to keep contributing to the team. Every day that I'm here I give my all. I want to keep developing until it's time to move to Madrid," Vinicius told 'Fox Sports'.
Additionally, the Brazil U17 international, who scored a great goal against Cruzeiro recently, also addressed his future team.
"I follow them a bit in the news. Sometimes they send me WhatsApps or my father tells me a little bit. I talk to Marcelo and Casemiro. I always send them messages when they play and they do the same."
Finally, Vinicius spoke about his great run of form: "At the moment I am developing in each training session and from now on I am going to help Flamengo even more. I am in my best period of development in the first team, in terms of maturity and everything else."
