That period includes next week's long trip to Moscow as the 'Red Devils' face CSKA in the Champions League and while the Potuguese admits that the run will test his side, he believes United will be well set if they can put together a strong run during that period.
Speaking ahead of the weekend trip to Southampton, Mourinho told the press: 'It's very difficult but it means it's going to be easier later.
'If we play CSKA in Moscow and Benfica in Lisbon it means we've got them at Old Trafford later. Liverpool and Huddersfield the same.
'I'm never too worried at home because the number of matches is going to be the same. Some clubs are always in the hot balls!
'It's more difficult to play away. We try to get the points. It's impossible to win all the time and compensate with good form at home.
'We have three victories at Old Trafford. If we manage to change so many draws, change some of them to victories, it'll be great.'
The fixture list will pose the first real test of the depth of United's squad and their title credentials, are they up to the task? Mourinho certainly thinks so.
