Zidane reveals he is a huge fan of Mohamed Salah

The Egyptian has lit up the Premier League so far this season following his summer move from Roma and currently leads the top scorers chart with 13 goals in the competition.

Such has been his form that the club are already concerned about interest from other clubs, despite the former Chelsea man's Anfield career being very much in its infancy.

Real Madrid are one side that have been linked with a move, with 'Los Blancos' thought to be keen on adding a forward to their squad after their struggles in front of goal this campaign.

Egypt boss Hector Cuper and former Middlesbrough striker Mido both fuelled talk of a switch by saying that their compatriot would move to the Bernebeu sooner rather than later, with Zidane's praise the latest development.

“Salah is a great player. He showed that at Roma, now at Liverpool," said the Frenchman.

“He’s still young and is improving all the time. I don’t talk much about other players, but he is a player I rate a lot.”
