The name Samuel Umtiti is on the shopping lists of many of Europe's major sides. United, for example, are reportedly interested in the centre-back.
Contract controversy surrounding the Frenchman is the talk of the town in Catalonia, with many worried he'll head for the exit door. One of the pillars of Valverde's back four, Umtiti has become a consistent starter at the Camp Nou.
According to 'Sport,' the centre-back has demanded a €5 million pay rise which will take his salary from €4 million to €9 million a year, but with negotiations stalling, Barca have started to look at possible replacements.
At the top of the list that 'Sport' published is Clement Lenglet, the Sevilla defender who has been on Barca's radar for a while. PSG's Presnel Kimpembe, City's Aymeric Laporte and Atletico's Lucas Hernandez are also apparently in the Catalan club's sights.
Lenglet has impressed in La Liga this season and, at just 22 years old, has a promising future ahead of him. Whether that future will play out at the Camp Nou or the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan remains to be told.
