The players will convene at England's training centre, St. George's Park, on Monday, as they prepare to begin training together for the World Cup. There will be a light training session in the afternoon, as well as an informal meeting.
The first full training session will be on Tuesday, however there will be seven absences. The obvious ones are those of the two Liverpool players in the squad, Jordan Henderson and Trent Alexander-Arnold, who still have a Champions League final to play on Saturday.
Also absent will be Marcus Rashford, Jesse Lingard, Phil Jones, Ashley Young and Gary Cahill, as the Manchester United and Chelsea players rest up after their FA Cup final on Saturday. These five have been given a week of leave.
England's first game will be on June 2, in a friendly against Nigeria, and their first World Cup game will be on June 18, against Tunisia.
