'Ignore what they're saying, we're going to bounce back'

Spanish publication 'Marca' reports that Zidane has stepped up to lead his troops following their disappointing loss to the 'Yellow Submarine' at the weekend, with the 'Los Blancos' boss predictably trying to look on the bright side of life.

Zidane still believes in his players and is keen for them to avoid being influenced by external pressures and media forces.

"Ignore what they're saying, we're going to bounce back", was Zidane's message to his squad after seeing his side slip 19 points behind La Liga leaders and arch-rivals Barcelona.

Whilst the dressing room was a natural a delicate place after their most recent loss, Zidane and Real still have half a season to put things right on the pitch.

Neither Zidane, nor the Real players could explain their latest defeat, with visiting goalkeeper Sergio Asenjo putting in a fine display, thwarting Real chance after Real chance.

The aformentioned source claims that there is no sign of a dressing room mutiny, with the players maintaing their faith in Zidane and the confidence that the chances that have been going to waste in recent weeks will soon turn to goals.

With a Champions League clash with PSG on the horizon, everyone connected with Real will be hoping that they find form sooner rather than later.
