The Brazilian recently spoke to 'O Globo' and couldn't help but sing Iniesta's praises. "He's an idol, a God of football. I want him to stay, I'd love to play with him," Arthur said.
Arthur was also quick to dispel comparisons: "He has his own traits and I have mine. He's a genius and I'm just starting out," he added.
"I've seen that he might go to China, but I'd love to be able to play alongside Iniesta. I think that the board and the fans would also love for him to stay."
In the same interview, Arthur revealed that a conversation he had with his compatriot Neymar as key to him signing for the Catalan heavyweights. He is expected to join his new teammates in January 2019.
