"Real Madrid are the best team in Europa. I can't see a single Liverpool player that would improve Real Madrid, not even Salah," Del Bosque told 'El Partidazo' on 'COPE'.
The experienced manager also took the opportunity to clarify his comments further, saying: "Bale, Benzema, Cristiano, Asensio and Vazquez are all better than Salah, or just as good."
It seems that despite his stunning debut season with the 'Reds', there would be no room at Real Madrid for Salah if Del Bosque were in charge.
The comments only go to hype up the tension ahead of Satuday's final in Kiev, particularly with the recent links claiming that Real Madrid are considering a move for the Egyptian.
Salah has scored 44 goals in 51 games in all competitions so far this season and is Liverpool's main hope as they look to humble the European champions.
Finally, when asked for his prediction, Del Bosque nailed his colours to the mast, going for a 4-1 Real Madrid victory.
