Since returning to the Manchester United starting lineup against Swansea last month, Paul Pogba has started to show the sort of form that many expected from him when he first returned to the club form Juventus.
The France international has scored two and laid on a further two in his last five games, demonstrating his ability to change a gmae in the blink of an eye.
Manager Jose Mourinho recently said of Pogba: "I'm not expecting him to be phenomenal every match but to keep a certain level," and it seems that the Frenchman has listened, with his stats from his last five games significantly better than his season average.
Pogba's passing accuracy has risen to 88% from 85%, with his passing accuracy in the opposition half also increasing by the same amount, from 82% to 85%. Meanwhile, the 25-year-old is also creating more chances per game (1.6 to 1.4), having more shots per game (1.2 to 0.7) and contributing to goals more often (every 102 minutes to every 143).
Whilst Pogba's impact has been criticised, his tally of 12 assists in all competitions this season is double what he managed last year, with his haul of 14 in 2015/16 the only time he has exceeded a dozen.
The former Juventus man has been accused of not turning up in the "big games" since his return to blighty, but having created two goals against Arsenal at the Emirates and with his match-winning Brace against Manchester City a matter of weeks ago, this season has seen a marked improvement.
- Wilshere -
Despite a couple of niggles here and there, including a recent akle injury, Wilshere has only featured more frequently for Arsenal in one season, back in 2010/11 when he made 49 appearances.
The playmaker will be looking to use Sunday's game as a way of enhancing his chances of a World Cup call-up, particularly in the wake of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain's injury.
The stats show that Wilshere has been England's best creative midfielder on paper this season in the Premier League, making more forward passes per game (24) and more successful take-ons per game (2.2) than the likes of Oxlade-Chamberlain, Dele Alli and Jesse Lingard.
His pass completion percentage of 86% is edged out only by Lingard (87%), whilst only Crystal Palace's Ruben Loftus-Cheek has recorded more take-ons per game (2.8).
Arsenal face a tough task to defeat United on Sunday, going into the game as the only English professional side to have not picked up a point away from home in 2018, whilst the 'Gunners' have also failed to win on their last 10 Premier League visits to the 'Theatre of Dreams'.
