The current runaway leaders in the Austrian League have enjoyed their Europa League tournament so far, having eliminated Lazio at the quarter-finals and defeated Marseille during the pool phase.
Either Arsenal or Atletico Madrid will meet the winners next month in the final. Both Marseille and RB Salzburg are competing in the Europa League semi-finals for the first time.
Speaking to the club website, Rose said: ''We have to compete in the first leg in front of 60,000 passionate fans. We need a special performance for that.''
He also noted that: ''Olympique [Marseille] don't only have top players in their squad, but they have also developed extremely well as a team recently. The two group stage matches against them feels long ago already, and things have changed at both teams since then.''
RB Salzburg's striker Munas Dabbar added: ''We have come this far, so of course we want to take the next step to the final. We have another really big challenge ahead that we want to take on with everything we have.''
Meanwhile, Marseille's defender Rolando said: ''[Salzburg] is a formidable opponent. It is a team of young players who are ready to fight for more than 90 minutes. They have been dominating their championship for two years, and there is a lot of quality. To see them in the semi-finals is not a surprise.''
