Since joining Dortmund, Batshuayi has scored seven goals in nine games, helping them to progress through the Europa League and maintaining their charge for the Champions League places in the Bundesliga.
"I would be very happy if Michy stays," Reus told Bild. "He showed how important he can be for us. I hope we finish the season in a Champions League place."
Batshuayi himself has said that he would be open to a move to Dortmund, as he feels happy in Germany, but the final decision ultimately rests with Chelsea.
Reus, meanwhile, has just signed a new five-and-a-half year contract with Peter Stoger's side to commit his future to them for the long term.
