Speaking at the Academy of Cinema in Madrid, Del Bosque said that 'La Roja' has "good vibes" under Julen Lopetegui. He also stated: "It's just as important to win as it is to do it in a sporting manner."
Del Bosque spoke out on some of Spain's potential rivals at the World Cup in Russia, declaring that: "Argentina hasn't been great in the qualifying stages, although you have to be aware that with Messi anything can happen."
"Spain always has to fight, but if we don't win it's not a total failure," the former national side manager said. "It's very good that we have three sides in the Champions League and another in the Europa League. It means that the players will be at their best level right up until the World Cup."
Del Bosque was Spain's head coach when they triumphed at the World Cup in South Africa. At a recent event in Madrid he was given the first official fan I.D. card by LG. Now, Spain will be doing all they can to increase the hype around this summer's tournament in Russia in order to restore their crown that they won in 2010.
