When Carlos Tevez returned to training with Boca Juniors last week, he had to admit to an injury that he had picked up whilst playing a football game, in prison.
The Argentine was visiting his half-brother Juan Alberto Martinez who is currently imprisoned at a maximum security prison in Cordoba. Martinez was convicted of assault on an armoured vehicle, alongside Tevez's brother-in-law.
According to 'Clarin Sports', the former Argentina international participated in a football game with inmates during the visit. Tevez took a hit to his calf muscle that he later admitted to in training.
Tevez has had stints at several different clubs during this career, including Juventus, Man City, Man United and West Ham. Most recently, he had a short spell with Shanghai Shenhua in the Chinese Super League.
During his time in the CSL, Tevez was earning a reported £650,000 per week, in a period he described as a ''holiday.''
